Dress Code

Good grooming helps to develop self-confidence and self-esteem. Children should wear clothing appropriate for school. Short shorts and skirts, crop tops, halter-tops, tube-tops, spaghetti straps, and cut up shirts and pants are unacceptable. Underwear should not be visible. Hats and sunglasses are not allowed indoors.

T-shirts and other clothing promoting or acknowledging inappropriate or violent activities, language and/or illegal substances should NOT be worn to school.

Footwear is mandatory. Heelys, platform shoes, high heels and other footwear that may cause accidents should not be worn to school. Covered athletic type shoes are required on all field trips and for participation in P.E. Crocs and other slip on shoes are not appropriate on field trips.

Students dressed inappropriately will be asked to change and disciplinary action may be taken.
