Hello! I am Mrs. Umemoto and it is a joy teaching here at Waiau Elementary School. I began teaching 6th grade at Kanoelani Elementary School.  Along the way, I also taught grade K and grade 3.  Fortunately, I was eventually given the opportunity to teach 2nd grade at Waiau Elementary School. I have been a part of Waiau’s wonderful staff for over 25 years. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling the world, making photo books, and going on walking adventures around our beautiful island.
