Hui Malamalama
Ma.lama.lama: light of knowledge, clarity of thinking or explanation, enlightenment; shining, radiant, clear. To cause light, brighten, illuminate, enlighten, inform, civilize.
Mālama - to take care of, tend, attend, care for, preserve, protect
Our Hui Malamalama student leadership team is comprised of selected 4th, 5th and 6th graders. Together they are tasked with helping our school community fulfill our Core Values by achieving our GLOs

Each year, the student leaders study our core values and use the Design Thinking process to develop and carryout projects that help our school and extended community. We are divided into three committees:
Service Learning – Recycling, Campus Beautification, Canned Food Drive, Read Across Waiau
Student Safety - Drug Free Week. , Peace/Bully Prevention, Safety Concerns
School Spirit - Spirit Days, Drug Free Week & Halloween Assembly, PEACE/Kindness Days
